Electric Motorcycle company, CAKE continue to innovate for the '.work' and '.kids' series

The new CAKE work series come with adaptations for enhanced practicality. This includes optimised cargo possibilities, extra battery capacity and increased motor power.

These adaptations increase efficiency for those who work as a mobile workforce or professional. The electric drive train requires little maintenance allowing for longer life cycles. Optimised for maximum power making them ideal for pulling heavy and bulky loads. Integrated power outlets allows the bike to power work tools such as drills, welding machines and laptops.

The work bikes are designed to have the maximum possible range, with larger and more durable batteries for more demanding locations and long work days. The batteries are swappable and replaceable meaning you can carry a supply for a long journey. Created for a superior level of efficiency, the bikes are kept slimmer to navigate traffic, optimised for different cargo shapes and sizes and can tow heavier loads.

CAKE have also developed a range of bikes for kids to help build confidence and skills among young riders. This range features 3 bikes, which become progressively more technical, faster and require more skill through the range. This range starts with a standard push bicycle all the way to a functioning electric motorbike.

CAKE continue to innovate by partnering with Papershell, a natural fibre composite company, and are currently looking at ways to replace their plastic components with a paper composite.

This paper composite is claimed to be stronger than plastic and has a lower carbon footprint in its creation. CAKE are currently evaluating the properties of the material to see if it will be suitable.
