Motorcycle giant Indian and electric bike behemoths SUPER73 have teamed up to create the eFTR Hooligan 1.2 electric bike. The eFTR Hooligan electric bike fuses the tried and trusted powertrain from the SUPER73 with the styling of the Indian motorcycle. No licence is required and it is intended for urban transportation, commuting or recreational use.
The eFTR electric bike flaunts premium features, a 960 Watt removable battery (capable of 40 miles of throttle only and 75 miles of pedal assist), an aluminium chassis, 20 inch wheels, disc brakes, The ‘OFF ROAD’ mode, switchable via a mobile app, delivers 2000 watts of power and throttle speeds of above 28mph.

Perhaps this is Indian’s response to Harley Davidson who launched their spin off electric bike brand, Serial One, last year. Combining the high spec SUPER73 with Indian styling this bike offers electric bike practicality with heritage. This e bike is US only currently and sits at $3,999. Hopefully we will see its migration over to our shores in the near future.
