D-fly, a London based electric mobility company, has developed the ‘Dragonfly Hyperscooter’ a 40km/h, 4 wheeled scooter looking to take urban mobility to the next level. This electric scooter combines two 550W motors which creates 1,650 of peak power. This creates a suggested range of 50 miles.
The Dragonfly comes with multiple power modes, some that limit the speed to 15.5mph and other that unleash the full potential. This means it complies to road legal regs in the UK, but may qualify as an ‘L’ class light electric vehicles, which needs both insurance and licensing.
The suspension on the Dragonfly gives it more comfort and utility through different urban environments. The ‘full-tilt steering’ and 4 wheel braking and suspension combine for enhanced stability. The carbon fibre platform, ‘on-board’ riding sounds, electric horn and accessory sound pod push this vehicle into a new area of innovation. Accompanied with twin headlights, braking, indicators and GPS tracking the Dragonfly Hyperscooter is packed with tech.
The Dragonfly Hyperscooter electric scooter is now available on Indiegogo, ranging from £1,750 for the DF to £2,100 of the DFX.
